net-art exhibition contest   


Netizens II is the second edition of a project, conceived by Antonella Pisilli and coordinated by the group of young administrators Gapper Snipper, that intends to promote and to give visibility to the artists that operate within the net-art.
The initiative is structured in the show, prepared in the physical environment of the gallery Sala1 in Rome, and in the contest to which to participate through the "simulworld" of the net.
Even if it's an artistic phenomenon   that has been producing reflections and jobs of notable conceptual intensity for the nineties,   net-art   still meet a lot of difficulties of entry in the traditional places of the art. Introduces in the exhibition contest   a fascinating challenge: to reproduce the action of the fruition of a work that is intimately together individual experience and share to a new demonstration of collective intelligence, "the connective intelligence."
Netizens is inserted in this panorama as a proposal of experimentation, creating a feed-back among the two dimensions of the to feel and to create art contemporary: the bodily space and the fluid simultaneity of the net.
